 A former resident of California and Ohio, a traveler of much of the United States; Sherrill was exposed to many geographical areas before choosing to live in Deland, Florida. Her love of the tropics is reflected in her art.
Kayaking, island hopping and scuba diving give her the opportunity to explore
and to be inspired by the beauty of her environment.Her formal education began at the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio and she received her Bachelor of Art degree in Fine Art from Florida International University In Miami, Florida. Sherrill's sculptures and paintings are in private collections in North America, South America and Europe. Her work has been exhibited in many galleries and museums. Sherrill is the president of the co-op gallery, ''Gallery 142 Ltd.'', located at 142 S. Woodland Blvd., DeLand, FL.
